ARCO Design/Build is seeking a Creative Manager which is a critical leadership role in shaping the visual identity and creative direction of the organization. This position leads high-impact brand, design, and copy strategies across multiple platforms while also executing hands-on creative work.

The Creative Manager will manage the graphic designer and collaborate cross-functionally with regional marketers and senior leaders to develop compelling, cohesive, and brand-aligned visuals that support business objectives. This role requires a confident, independent professional who can balance strategic vision with practical execution and exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision.

This role can be located at any major ADB location.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Lead the conceptualization and execution of creative deliverables across print, digital, and environmental platforms, including proposals, presentations, marketing collateral, internal communications, and external campaigns.
  • Develop engaging and persuasive copy for advertisements, promotional materials, and other creative assets that align with the organization’s brand voice and messaging strategy.
  • Craft compelling headlines, taglines, and call-to-action copy that effectively communicates value propositions and drives audience engagement.
  • Manage and mentor the graphic designer to ensure quality, consistency, and growth in creative output.
  • Collaborate with regional marketers, executive leadership, business development, and operations teams to translate business goals into compelling visual and written strategies.
  • Maintain and evolve the brand identity to align with company values, market positioning, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Provide hands-on creative development as needed, including layout design, image editing, copywriting, and final production.
  • Present creative concepts and solutions to internal stakeholders with clarity, confidence, and a strong understanding of audience and business needs.
  • Oversee external vendors, freelancers, or agencies as required to supplement creative capacity.
  • Ensure all creative output meets high standards of design, accuracy, and brand alignment.
  • Stay informed of design trends, tools, and best practices relevant to the industry.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field required; advanced degree or continuing education in design or brand strategy preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in graphic design and brand development, with at least 2 years in a creative leadership or management role.
  • Demonstrated portfolio of professional work in the A/E/C sector or related industries, including examples of advertising copy and creative writing.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling headlines, taglines, and promotional content that drives audience engagement.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and relevant design tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives.
  • Proven ability to think strategically, manage multiple priorities, and lead projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Experience mentoring junior creatives and giving constructive, actionable feedback.
  • A high level of professional judgment, independence, and initiative.
