Job summary

Crazy Carrot is opening its flagship downtown Toronto location and seeks a storyteller to photograph and film our food, team, and opening-day energy, turning it into Reels, TikToks, and posts while managing accounts and email campaigns that bring our community along for the ride.

This is a hands-on creative role with ownership of your content calendar, collaborating with Marketing and Operations to stay on-brand and accurate. Part-time, on-site with remote editing during campaigns.

Qualifications

• Portfolio required: Instagram and/or TikTok samples showing Reels or video, food photography, and graphic design work.
• Experience creating content for food brands, including photography and short-form video.
• Ability to write on-brand captions and concise marketing copy.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation: photograph and style menu items and beverages; capture behind-the-scenes content and events.
• Video Production: edit Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and Snapchat content.
• Social Media Management: post, schedule, captions, and engage across platforms.
• Content Calendar: manage a monthly calendar and align with Marketing.
• Marketing & Email Support: assist with campaigns and copy for subject lines.
• Operations: confirm changes with Ops before publishing on menu or pricing updates.
• Marketing: ensure content aligns with brand standards and direction.
