Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Create, monitor, and maintain the AFS operator training program.
2. Ensure compliance with WorkSafe and OHS regulations.
3. Create, monitor, and maintain the AFS competency program.
4. Organize, record, and maintain company crane documentation.
5. Organize, monitor, and maintain site-specific crane documentation.
6. Organize, plan, and implement crane setups and teardowns; submit for NOPTC approvals within required notice periods with WSBC.
7. Ensure inspections and certifications of all below-the-hook lifting devices are maintained, including rigging, garbage boxes, jibs, man boxes, etc.
8. Delegate manpower to ensure provisional operators receive practical hands-on training in all aspects of crane operations.
9. Ensure maintenance and upkeep of all cranes are up to date.
10. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to the AFS crane program.
11. Develop, initiate, and maintain safety procedures and company policies pertaining to the AFS crane program.
12. Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain a detailed crane usage schedule per project.
13. Coordinate all engineering requirements for crane setup.
14. Create project crane location and swing radius plans.
15. Perform all other duties necessary to ensure the success of the company's crane program.
