Job summary

Aon Burlington, ON is seeking a CPG Account Executive to manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and act as a trusted partner to clients, insurers and internal teams. The role emphasizes servicing existing programs, advising on policy changes, and proactive cross-selling to meet sales targets.

You will collaborate with underwriters and internal staff, bind coverage, prepare quotations, and handle billing processes while delivering top-tier client service.

Qualifications

• RIBO licence is required.
• CAIB and/or CIP designation is an asset.
• 3+ years of commercial insurance experience managing a portfolio of commercial clients.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an integral part of the CPG Team, providing all levels of client contact on assigned accounts.
• Service existing programs and respond to new business inquiries.
• Analyze and define risk exposure and coverage for assigned accounts and new business.
• Provide ongoing service to existing clients, renew policy documents, submissions, proposals, and advice on policy changes.
• Act as liaison between client, insurers and Aon branches, handling questions and correspondence.
• Proactively sell and cross-sell insurance products to achieve individual and team sales.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

The salary range for this position is CAD $64,515 – CAD $85,000. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

What the day will look like

As a key member of the CPG team, you will act as a trusted partner to clients, insurers, and internal customers while leading all aspects of a collection of commercial insurance accounts.

• Serving as an integral part of the CPG Team, provides all levels of client contact on assigned accounts
• Servicing existing programs and responding to new business inquiries
• Analyzing and defining the risk exposure and coverage for assigned accounts and new business
• Providing continuing service to existing clients, renewal of policy documents, submissions, proposals and advice on policy changes
• Acting as a liaison between client, insurers and Aon branches, handling questions and general inquiries and preparing all related correspondence
• Proactively sell and cross‑sell insurance products to achieve individual and team sales

Operational Excellence

• Managing all information needed to take an application, prepare quotations, calculate premiums, bind coverage, and oversee billing processes
• Assisting with correspondence, client insurance summaries, promotional material, reports and presentations
• Contact underwriters and negotiating the best terms and conditions, premiums and coverage
• Processing related information/documentation in Xpress & Epic systems

Performing other duties as assigned.
