CPA – Full Cycle Bookkeeping & Financial Management

Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid flexibility may be considered)

About Us:

Evolve Exteriors Inc. is a leading provider of high-performance exterior systems for residential and

commercial construction projects. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a designated CPA with a

strong background in full-cycle bookkeeping and financial management to take ownership of our

internal accounting function and provide critical insights into project and corporate performance.

Position Overview:

The CPA will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle using QuickBooks Online (QBO),

while also working closely with senior management and our estimating team to perform margin analysis

and support informed decision-making. This role requires hands-on experience in day-to-day financial

operations as well as a strategic mindset to support the company’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online (QBO)

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including tracking, reconciliations, and collections

• Administer bi-weekly payroll, source deductions, and ROE submissions

• Ensure full CRA compliance for GST/HST, payroll, and corporate taxes

• Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts and financial models

• Calculate and update Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules for job costing and monthly reporting

• Maintain and oversee the accounts receivable aging report and collection strategies

• Collaborate with the estimating team and senior management to conduct project and margin analysis

• Assist with year-end closing, audit preparation, and coordination with external accountants

• Continuously refine financial systems and controls to support operational efficiency

Qualifications:

• CPA designation (or near completion)

• 3+ years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping and financial reporting

• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO)

• Experience in construction or project-based accounting, including WIP and job

costing

• Proven ability to conduct margin and financial performance analysis

• Strong Excel skills and financial modeling capabilities

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
