Job summary

DMCL LLP in Vancouver seeks an Articling Student to work closely with managers, senior managers and partners across diverse client engagements—from mining to health sciences and manufacturing—and to gain exposure to a broad client base.

You’ll build a strong foundation early in your career with hands‑on learning, open mentorship, structured training, and full financial support toward your CPA designation, all within a 35‑hour work week.

Qualifications

• You have completed an undergraduate degree with a focus in accounting.
• You will have completed all the required prerequisites for entry into the CPA program before your start date.
• You’re proficient in Microsoft Office, with solid working knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate tax returns, working papers, and other accounting assignments for clients.
• Deliver assurance engagements to provide clients confidence in financial information.
• Build and maintain relationships by communicating with clients and third parties to gather necessary information.
• Contribute to DMCL’s culture through teamwork, fresh ideas, and active engagement.

• Pay or shift range: $54,000 CAD to $65,000 CAD We’re committed to fair and transparent pay. The salary for this role is based on a 35-hour work week, which is standard at DMCL. This work week is up to 14% shorter than some comparable positions with other organizations. Ask us more about working extra hours if you are interested in enhancing your compensation. The salary we offer will reflect your experience, skills, and overall fit for the role, while also referencing internal equity to ensure fairness across the firm.
