Job summary

Momentum Health Corporation in Calgary, AB is seeking a Coverage Kinesiologist to support multiple clinics with flexible hours from 7 AM to 8 PM. This casual role offers exposure to diverse clinicians and care models while you build mentorship through the Clinical Development Program.

You’ll work across Creekside, Deerfoot, Mahogany, Ogden, Seton, Westbrook, West Springs, Evidence North, Evidence South, and National Spine & Wellness, with opportunities for growth within the group.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe, apply, supervise, and educate patients on Therapeutic Exercise Programs, including AROM, PROM, stretching, proprioception, coordination, balance, and strengthening
• Assist with physiotherapy assessments and re-evaluations
• Learn and administer hands-on treatment techniques, including basic trigger point release, MRT, instrumented soft tissue release, friction massage, and hold-relax stretching
• Apply and remove modalities, including heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS, IFC, micro-current, and muscle stimulation
• Assist with clinic upkeep, such as laundry, cleaning patient beds, filling ultrasound gel, and cleaning machines and tools
• Greet patients and help ensure a comfortable clinic experience
• Network with other professionals in the field, including physiotherapists, chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, and registered massage therapists
