Job summary

CBI Health – Momentum Health in Calgary is seeking a Coverage Kinesiologist to join our multidisciplinary team. This casual, no-guaranteed-hours role offers flexible hours across all clinics and a patient-centered care approach.

The successful candidate will deliver Therapeutic Exercise Programs, assist assessments, and collaborate with physiotherapists, chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, and registered massage therapists. Compensation is CAD 20–22 per hour with mentorship and events.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with patients and team members.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Previous volunteer or work experience in a Physiotherapy or multidisciplinary clinic is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prescription, application, supervision and education of Therapeutic Exercise Programs (AROM, PROM, stretching, proprioception, coordination, balance, strengthening).
• Assist Physiotherapy assessments and re-evaluations.
• Administer hands-on techniques (trigger point release, MRT, Instrumented Soft Tissue Release, Friction massage, hold-relax).
• Apply modalities (heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS, IFC, micro-current, Muscle Stimulation).
• Assist with clinic upkeep and greet patients to ensure comfort.
• Network with professionals across disciplines.

As a coverage team member, you will have access to our Clinician Development Program where you will receive mentorship from experienced clinicians in the company based on your areas of interest. This position also puts you first in line for new opportunities within our group.

Hours: Variable between 7AM-8PM (dependent on coverage shift)

Employment Type: Casual (no guaranteed hours)

Preferred Start Date: As soon as possible

Compensation: $20-$22 per hour

Primary Responsibilities

• Prescription, application, supervision and education of patient’s Therapeutic Exercise Programs including: AROM, PROM, stretching, proprioception, coordination, balance and strengthening
• Assist Physiotherapy assessments and re-evaluations
• Learn and administer several hands‑on treatment techniques including basic trigger point release, MRT, Instrumented Soft Tissue Release, Friction massage and hold relax stretching
• Application and removal of modalities including heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS, IFC, micro‑current and Muscle Stimulation
• Assisting with clinic up‑keep such as laundry, cleaning patient beds, filling ultrasound gel, and cleaning machines and tools
• Greet patients and ensure they have a comfortable experience in the clinic
• A wonderful opportunity to network with other professionals in the field such as physiotherapists, chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, and registered massage therapists

The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications

• Degree in Kinesiology
• Excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Previous volunteer or work experience in a Physiotherapy or Multidisciplinary clinic an asset
