Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at check out for customers, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
6. Restock merchandise on store shelves and gather bascarts for return.
7. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.
8. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise and understand store layout for product location and price checks.
9. Reinforce safety programs and adhere to safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
10. Follow all food safety regulations and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
11. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
12. Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
13. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts appropriately.
14. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
15. Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
16. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
17. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
