Job summary

Evergreen Co-operative Association is seeking a friendly retail associate to deliver exceptional member service in our grocery department. The role requires prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, stocking and operating equipment safely, completing tasks promptly, and maintaining clean work areas.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience in grocery is an asset.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple demands with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

• Being comfortable with working indoors and outdoors, and changing environments frequently
• All other duties as assigned

• Possesses a sense of urgency, and customer first attitude

• Ability to be physically active with lifting up to 50 lbs is required, as well as, a good portion of the day doing static positions
