Global Education & Social Justice.**Description**: A cross-curricular, interdisciplinary approach to teaching/creating learning experiences for students. It will foster critical thinking and nurture lifelong global understanding, active engagement and participation in relation to questions of social, economic, and environmental justice, by infusing these issues in the classroom.*This course is not Team Taught or offered online.* **Term:** Winter 2027 **Course Credits**: 3 **Location:** Education Building (EDUC 216) **Schedule:** Tuesday & Thursday, 02:35 pm-03:55 pm**Appointment Dates:**December 20, 2026 - April 30, 2027**Teaching Qualification Requirements (TQRs):****Education:*** Master educator with an MA in a relevant field (i.e., curriculum studies, educational foundations - philosophy, sociology, and history of education, critical pedagogy, comparative education) and relevant professional experience as a school educator, pedagogue, community educator, and/or NGO organizer or educator.* PhD or equivalent in a relevant field is an asset. **Experience:**1. Demonstrated knowledge of:* Global education issues* Social justice issues in education* Foundational issues in education* Contemporary issues in education* Comparative education2. Previous experience teaching similar course(s) at the undergraduate or graduate level and/or equivalent relevant teaching or professional experience. 3.
