The Faculty of Arts and Science at Nipissing University invites applications from qualified instructors to teach Geography and Geology courses during the Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 semesters.

Qualifications:

  • A PhD in Geography, Geology, or a related field
  • A Master’s degree in Geography, Geology, or a related field is required
  • Relevant post-secondary teaching experience
  • Relevant professional experience

Duties:

  • Responsible for all instruction and evaluation for the courses assigned
  • Available to meet with students outside of official classroom hours
  • Complete mandatory training and adhere to Nipissing University's policies and procedures

  • GEOG-2136 – Cultural Geography (Distance)
  • GEOG-3057 – Environmental Geomorphology (North Bay)
  • GEOG-3106 – Impact Assessment (North Bay)
  • GEOG-4026 – Political Ecology (Distance)
