Job summary

Purolator in Burnaby is seeking a Utility Courier for a 40h/week role with a starting pay rate of $22.12 per hour, rising to $37.38 per hour after four years. A valid Class 5 license with a clean driving record and high school completion are required.

The role centers on picking up and delivering packages to meet daily schedules and supporting any absent couriers. You will scan packages, communicate with dispatch, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and help resolve issues on the road.

• When inspections fail, the Courier advises the unit manager

Description

Shift: 40h/week, flexibility need

Pay-rate: $22.12 per hour (25.07 after 3 months, with annual wage increases, top rate at $37.38 per hour in 48 months)

Valid Class 5 license for at least 3 years, clean driver abstract

The Utility Courier picks up and delivers customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules and resolves problems as they arise. Job covers other absent couriers that may be on any work shift.
