Job summary

FedEx Canada recrute un opérateur de manutention et de livraison à temps partiel pour Drummondville. Vous chargerez et déchargerez des avions et des véhicules, trieren des colis et assurerez des livraisons et ramassages efficaces et courtois.

Vous vérifierez les envois pour conformité et assumerez des fonctions liées au service à la clientèle. Horaires variables, y compris les congés, selon les besoins de l’entreprise.

Qualifications

  • Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalent requis.
  • Permis de conduire valide et bon dossier de conduite exigés.
  • Expérience d’un an en service à la clientèle souhaitée.

Responsibilities

  • Charger et décharger des avions et des véhicules; trier les colis et assurer livraison et ramassage efficaces dans le secteur attribué.

This is an interview position.

To load and unload aircrafts and vehicles, sort packages and provide efficient delivery and pick-up of packages; to check shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service; to provide related customer service functions.

COMPÉTENCES REQUISES
  • Diplôme d’études secondaires ou scolarité équivalente.
  • Posséder un permis de conduire valide et un bon dossier de conducteur.
  • Un (1) an d’expérience dans le domaine du service à la clientèle
  • Pouvoir soulever des charges de 70lb et manoeuvrer, avec l’aide d’un appareil approprié, des colis pesant jusqu’à 150lb.
  • Atteindre la note de passage à l’évaluation des conducteurs avant l’embauche.
  • Une certaine connaissance des activités de Federal Express Canada et de la réglementation douanière canadienne serait souhaitable.
  • Bonnes compétences en relations interpersonnelles et en communication.
  • Bonne maîtrise de la gestion du temps et de l’organisation
  • Excellentes habiletés pour le service à la clientèle
  • Capacité de mener plusieurs tâches de front, de surmonter le stress et de travailler sous haute pression.
  • Être prêt à se montrer souple pour travailler avec des horaires variables, de même que pendant les congés si les besoins de l’entreprise le justifient.

  • High school diploma/educational equivalent
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record
  • One (1) year customer oriented business experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
  • Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
  • Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitasking, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environment
  • Willing to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays based on business needs
