Job summary

LifeLabs in Burnaby, BC is seeking a Casual Courier to transport specimens, supplies and reports with safety and professionalism on flexible shifts. You will be a LifeLabs brand ambassador while maintaining our reputation for reliable service to the community.

Responsibilities include timely specimen transport, using LifeLabs tech for readings and timecards, and delivering excellent customer service in diverse driving conditions. A valid license and 3 years of driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A full valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible work hours and availability for sudden shift changes.

Job description

As a Courier, you will be responsible for transporting specimens, supplies, and reports in an efficient, dependable, punctual, proper, safe, and professional manner. You will also be a LifeLabs brand ambassador on the road, demonstrating the important service LifeLabs provides to the community while maintaining our established reputation.

Status: Casual

Shift: Variable shifts

Location: Burnaby, BC

Additional Requirements: The successful candidate will need to have flexibility to work weekends, afternoons, and evenings. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience, a valid Class 5 (or Class G in Ontario) driver's license, a clear driver's abstract, and must meet all applicable insurance requirements associated with their employment at LifeLabs.
