Job summary

Dynacare is seeking a Medical Courier to pick up and deliver medical samples in the Windsor region. This permanent part-time role operates on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 5:30 pm to 6:00 am, starting and ending at the Windsor Dynacare Hub.

You will represent the company, ensure timely delivery, and maintain safety and professionalism on every shift. Ideal candidates bring a valid G license with a clean 3-year abstract, at least 1 year of courier experience, and TDG certification.

Qualifications

• You have a valid G driver's license with a 3-year clean driving abstract.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial driver/courier role.
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods certified

Responsibilities

• Being super-attentive to detail in ensuring all samples are picked up as scheduled for clients
• Deliver medical reports reliably and other mail to all locations on assigned route
• Act as the representative of the company and must be courteous, informative, and professional at all times
• Be responsible for the safety and security of the vehicle always

As a Courier, you play a crucial role for Dynacare and act as a true representative of the company. You are responsible for the pickup and safe delivery of medical samples in a courteous, timely, and respectful manner. These samples have important medical outcomes and treatments for physicians and patients, so we rely on the efficiency, accuracy, and careful transport of our couriers. Even seconds of delay can make a lasting difference to a client’s healthcare needs. This role not only allows you to make a real impact in your work but also lets you do so while having flexibility in your daily life. This is a permanent, part time position.

Status: Permanent Part-time

Shift: Saturday; Sunday & Holidays: 5:30 pm - 6:00 am

Route: LWZ62/72/82

Work Style: On-site

Location: Windsor region.

Deadline for Internal Applicants: September 14th, at 5 PM EST

This route will start and end at the Windsor Dynacare Hub. Dynacare vehicle will be parked onsite. Courier will be responsible to arrive at the Windsor Dynacare site for start of shift and park the Dynacare vehicle in the designated spot at the end of shift.

What YOU bring to the role:

• You bring a positive approach and a friendly attitude combined with a laser-focus on quality
• Strong teamwork skills, but you can work independently while being punctual and reliable
• You have a valid G driver’s license with 3-year clean driving abstract
• Physically able and can lift up to 50 pounds(lbs.)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial driver/courier role
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods certified
