Job summary

Dynacare is hiring a Medical Courier for the Toronto General site. You will pick up and deliver medical samples with care and accuracy, on a Monday to Friday schedule from 6:15 am to 3:15 pm, ensuring timely service across hospital locations.

As a Dynacare courier, you represent the company with courtesy and professionalism, maintaining vehicle safety and handling reports and mail on the assigned route. A valid G license, TDG certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• You bring a positive approach and a friendly attitude with a laser-focus on quality.
• Strong teamwork skills, but you can work independently while being punctual and reliable.
• You have a valid G driver's license with 3-year clean driving abstract.
• Physically able and can lift up to 50 pounds (lbs).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial driver/courier role.
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods certified.

• Deliver medical reports reliably and other mail to all locations on assigned route

As a Courier, you play a crucial role for Dynacare and act as a true representative of the company. You are responsible for the pickup and safe delivery of medical samples in a courteous, timely, and respectful manner. These samples have important medical outcomes and treatments for physicians and patients, so we rely on the efficiency, accuracy, and careful transport of our couriers. Even seconds of delay can make a lasting difference to a client’s healthcare needs. Working Conditions

• To lift and transport specimen bags and supplies from different hospital locations.
• Movement in and out of vehicles
• To carry items up and down on stairs and in and out of the buildings.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds. Walk on stairs and continuously get in/off a vehicle.
• To deal with body fluids and hot and cold weather.
• Driving in city and on the highway (either day or night).
• Must deal with all weather conditions.
• Handling TDG regulated substances.
• To drive long hours, possibly from/to out of town/rural locations.

Pay rate

$19.50 - $23.25 per hour

The hiring pay range has been established; however, the final pay offer will be determined by taking into consideration various factors including but not limited to, level of experience and education requirements.
