Position Title: Country Sales Manager – Canada

Location: Greater Toronto Area preferred (flexible within Eastern/Central time zones)

Reports to: CEO, Americas

Industry: Industrial Services – Mechanical & Electrical Equipment Installation & Maintenance

About the Company

Our client is a European-headquartered industrial services group specializing in mechanical and electrical installation of high-value equipment and long-term service/maintenance contracts across the packaging, food, automation, and manufacturing industries.

In North America, they have established operations in the U.S. and Mexico and are now seeking to strategically grow their presence in Canada.

Position Overview

This is a foundational leadership role for someone entrepreneurial, self-driven, and ready to plant the seeds for long-term success in the Canadian market. This role blends business development with operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build upon and execute a growth plan for Canada, targeting industrial equipment installation and service opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, particularly with European manufacturers operating in Canada.
  • Hire, manage, and develop local team.
  • Serve as the local face of the company in Canada—both operationally and commercially.
  • Manage client relationships from contract negotiation through project execution.
  • Coordinate with U.S. and European leadership for support on projects, finance, and strategy.
  • Monitor regional P&L and drive profitability. Eligible for profit-sharing once revenue grows.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Language: German fluency preferred
  • Experience: Background in technical sales, industrial installation, or mechanical/electrical project management.
  • Traits: entrepreneurial, organized, and self-sufficient.
  • Industry Knowledge: Packaging, food processing, machinery, or mechanical/electrical equipment experience strongly preferred.
  • Leadership: Experience managing technicians or operational teams.
  • Location: Eastern/Central Canada preferred. Greater Toronto Area is ideal
