The Country Manager - Canada will drive business growth across Canada for our core instrumentation and consumables in Histology, Immunohistochemistry, and Digital Pathology. This role requires strategic leadership to meet sales, revenue, and profitability goals, managing a world-class sales team capable of complex, multi-level campaigns.

This position is remote, based in Canada, reporting to the VP of Sales. If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and aim to build a top-tier Commercial organization, read on.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Achieve or exceed growth targets for all product lines within the region.
  2. Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to each territory.
  3. Validate business plans, manage top account strategies, and oversee regional forecasts using a 30-60-90 day rolling methodology.
  4. Track key performance indicators regularly, ensuring alignment with company standards and best practices such as Korn Ferry sales methodologies.
  5. Review and approve contracts and bids, ensuring compliance and strategic benefit for LBS and customers.
  6. Build and develop a high-performing sales team with succession planning and performance management.
  7. Incorporate Voice of the Customer insights into business strategies to enhance customer solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in sciences, healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. At least 7 years of management experience leading sales teams in medical or life science equipment and consumables.
  3. Strong business management, financial, and contracting skills.
  4. Analytical skills for complex data analysis and decision-making.
  5. Experience building senior-level relationships and external alliances in healthcare.
  6. Deep understanding of sales processes, policies, and tools.
  7. Ability to support long-term strategic and short-term operational goals.
Travel & License Requirements:
  1. Availability to travel 50-75%, including international travel.
  2. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Preferred Additional Experience:
  1. Advanced degree (MBA).
  2. Certifications in sales methodologies like Korn Ferry, Challenger, etc.
  3. Experience in Histology/Pathology is a plus but not required.
