The Country Manager - Canada will drive business growth across Canada in our core areas: Histology, Immunohistochemistry, and Digital Pathology. This role requires strategic leadership to achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets, along with leading a world-class sales team capable of executing complex sales campaigns.

This position is part of the Sales team, fully remote within Canada. You will report to the VP of Sales and contribute to building a top-tier Commercial organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Achieve or exceed growth targets for all product lines within the region.
  2. Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to each territory’s potential.
  3. Validate regional business plans, manage relationships, and own the country forecast using a 30-60-90 day rolling methodology.
  4. Track KPIs and major objectives regularly, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and best practices.
  5. Oversee contract negotiations, bid processes, and ensure compliance and timely submissions.
  6. Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing sales team with active succession planning.
  7. Integrate Voice of the Customer into business strategies to enhance customer solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in sciences, healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years of management success in sales of medical or life science equipment to research and clinical markets.
  • Strong business management, financial, and contracting skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with complex data analysis.
  • Proven ability to develop senior management relationships and build external alliances.
  • Deep knowledge of sales methodologies, policies, and tools.
  • Ability to support multi-year strategic visions with effective execution.
Travel & License Requirements:
  • Travel up to 75%, including international travel as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Experience:
  • Advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
  • Certifications in sales methodologies (e.g., Korn Ferry, Challenger).
  • Experience in Histology/Pathology is a plus but not required.
