Job summary

Rexel Canada is seeking a Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate in Cobourg to assist customers at the counter, source products, and process orders. You will maintain showroom stock and support branch operations under the Branch Manager.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in counter sales or warehouse roles, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and basic computer literacy. Forklift experience is a plus, and adaptability to a digital workplace is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of counter sales/warehouse experience.
• Approachable personality with the ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work well under pressure with a positive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to impart knowledge.
• Forklift experience (1–5 years) is an asset, not required.

Job Description

As theCounter Sales/Warehouse Associatebased in Cobourg, you will build relationships with our customers by assisting with any product inquiries, sourcing additional products and receive & process orders via the counter. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will offer product knowledge, confirm stock availability and maintain the showroom and counter shelves.

Qualifications

• You have 1-2 years of prior counter sales/warehouse experience.

• You have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to impart knowledge.
• You have 1-5 Years Forklift experience (a key asset, not a requirement).
• You have basic understanding of Microsoft/computers.
• You are willing to adapt and embrace an ever-changing digital workplace.

Additional Information

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is negotiable. Final compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. This range does not include variable pay or other components of Rexel’s total rewards package.
