Job summary

Westburne, part of Rexel Canada, is seeking a Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate in Cobourg. You will assist customers at the counter, source products, and process orders while reporting to the Branch Manager.

You will stock and maintain showroom shelves, support sales initiatives, and strive to deliver excellent customer service. Prior counter sales or warehouse experience is preferred, with forklift experience a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of counter sales/warehouse experience.
• Approachable personality with effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and stay composed under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to impart knowledge.
• 1-5 years Forklift experience is a plus.
• 1-5 years electrical industry experience as Apprentice/Labourer/Electrician is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft/computers.
• Willingness to adapt to a changing digital workplace.

Job Description

As theCounter Sales/Warehouse Associatebased in Cobourg, you will build relationships with our customers by assisting with any product inquiries, sourcing additional products and receive & process orders via the counter. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will offer product knowledge, confirm stock availability and maintain the showroom and counter shelves.

Qualifications

• You have 1-2 years of prior counter sales/warehouse experience.


• You have an approachable personality and the proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.


• You have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work well under pressure while maintaining a good attitude.


• You have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to impart knowledge.


• You have 1-5 Years Forklift experience (a key asset, not a requirement).


• You have1-5 years of Prior Electrical Industry experience as an Apprentice/Labourer/Electrician (a key asset, not a requirement).


• You have basic understanding of Microsoft/computers.


• You are willing to adapt and embrace an ever-changing digital workplace.

Additional Information

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is negotiable. Final compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. This range does not include variable pay or other components of Rexel’s total rewards package.
