The Loose Moose & Antler Room in Toronto serves as a convivial, Canadiana-inspired venue offering a variety of beers and pizza. We seek a friendly Counter team member to provide fast, accurate service, take guest orders, prepare and serve beverages, and ensure pizzas meet our quality standards in a lively, team-driven setting.

Greet guests, handle payments, operate the POS, and work with colleagues to maintain stock, cleanliness and a welcoming guest experience.

Formación

• Experience in a restaurant/counter service is preferred.
• Valid Smart Serve certification is required.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable handling payments and operating a POS system.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per standards.
• Serve guests through the order window when the Antler Room is open.
• Reheat pizzas and finish with toppings and garnishes as needed.
• Maintain stock levels of beverages, food and service supplies.
• Keep counter and service areas clean and organized throughout shifts.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient service and positive guest experience.

As a Counter team member at The Loose Moose & Antler Room, you will provide friendly, efficient service while taking guest orders, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring pizzas are served to our quality standards. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment while creating a welcoming and enjoyable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take food and beverage orders, and accurately enter orders into the POS system.
• Process guest payments and handle cash and electronic transactions.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with responsible alcohol service standards.
• Serve guests through the order window when the Antler Room is open.
• Reheat pizza slices and finish pizzas with parmesan, oil, and other required toppings or garnishes.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels of beverages, food products, and service supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter, service areas, and equipment throughout each shift.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, counter service, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Valid Smart Serve certification is required.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable handling payments and operating POS systems.
