The Access to Care Program is currently seeking a Part-Time (6-month contract), Counsellor/Therapist 2 to work within the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program (OSP) at CAMH and its partner organizations. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, OSP, you will be a member of the OSP team.
The OSP interprofessional team works with internal and external stakeholders to improve access to structured psychotherapy and increase the availability of evidence-based psychological treatments for individuals with mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety in Ontario. The team provides evidence-based individual and group-based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) within CAMH and at community locations, including primary care.
As a team member, you will provide structured, client-centered psychotherapeutic care, work in partnership with clients, supports, and the team to support clients’ integration into their communities. Responsibilities include facilitating individual and group treatment, managing referrals, engaging in assessment and triage, and offering service navigation support. You will liaise with community healthcare providers and collaborate with community organizations and primary care sites to deliver CBT.
You will participate in professional development, including training and consultation, and contribute to developing best practices in mental health and concurrent disorder treatment. The role may involve providing clinical services during the day, evening, and weekends at the Queen Street Site or via virtual technology.
