We work together delivering a range of services that support families, children and individuals and contribute to building stronger, more resilient communities, including the Family & Relationships program which provides counselling and support to individuals, children, families, and couples to increase wellbeing and enrich relationships as well as family law counselling.
About the role
We are looking for a Counsellor -Generalist to join our Brisbane North team working across Strathpine, Clontarf, Stafford and surrounding suburbs. This is a Permanent Part-Time position working 68.4 hours per fortnight, availability to work an evening shift (12:30pm - 8:30pm) weekly is required.
As a Counsellor, you will play a vital role in supporting couples, families, and individuals-especially those who are vulnerable and disadvantaged. Your expertise will help clients navigate relationship challenges, separation, and divorce, fostering resilience in the community. You will provide essential counselling services, conduct assessments, and develop personalized case plans that empower clients to gain insight into their relationships and parenting. This position also involves outreach opportunities, collaborative team participation, and contributing to service improvement initiatives.
