Job summary

IMP Solutions, headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is seeking a Cost Financial Analyst, Managed Services to join our team.

Based at 7051 Bayers Road, Suite 107 Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and reporting to the Director of Managed Services with a dotted-line relationship to the Director of Finance, this full-time permanent role plays a key part in supporting the financial operations of our Managed Services business across Atlantic Canada and Ontario.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, or financial operations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support the financial operations of the Managed Services business unit across Atlantic Canada and Ontario, working with the Director of Finance.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with financial policies, controls, and reporting requirements.
• Support development of financial strategies, annual budgets, and forecasting activities for the Managed Services unit.
• Provide oversight of customer invoicing activities related to Managed Services and Professional Services.
• Identify, evaluate, and monitor financial risks and support accurate financial management practices.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and reports for decision-making by leadership.
• Prepare the monthly Managed Services Income Statement for IMP Solutions Canada (Atlantic Canada and Ontario).
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align financial objectives with business goals.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support new initiatives and improvements.
