Role Overview

Are you detail-oriented with strong planning skills and technical aptitude? Do you excel at analyzing information and cost estimation? Bradken Edmonton has an exciting opportunity for you as a Fixed Plant Planner/Estimator. You will play a crucial role in our expanding Fixed Plant department, ensuring smooth production and accurate project costing for new product lines, contributing to process improvements and growth at our Edmonton facility.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop accurate and timely cost quotations for sales.
  2. Create Manufacturing Routes based on technical specifications.
  3. Plan and schedule production activities to meet deadlines.
  4. Collaborate with sales, production, and procurement teams.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Understanding of mechanical and technical concepts related to machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Technical aptitude with a focus on precision and accuracy.
  • Commitment to safety procedures.
  • Experience in planning and cost estimation tasks.
  • Comfort with pricing information handling.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing planning or estimating roles.
  • Post-secondary education in a technical field; Grade 12 completion.
  • Trade Certificate as Structural Fitter or Welder.
  • Enrollment or completion of a millwright apprenticeship.
Team and Culture
