Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Cost Control Coordinator in Ontario to analyze and control project costs. You will monitor financial data, prepare detailed reports, and support strategic decision-making with cost efficiency insights.

The role requires five years in cost/financial analysis, strong Excel and analytical skills, and collaboration with project teams. Annual base salary CAD 85,000–120,000 with a comprehensive rewards package and Canadian benefits.

Qualifications

  • BA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Progression towards CPA is an asset.
  • Five years of proven experience as Cost Analyst or Financial Analyst.
  • Experience in project management or construction is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, with advanced Excel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze project costs and expenses to ensure accurate cost allocation.
  • Identify cost trends and variances.
  • Conduct thorough variance analyses between planned and actual costs.
  • Assist in the development and management of project forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and report on variances.
  • Support project managers in forecasting project costs and updating budgets.
  • Prepare detailed cost structure reports and variance analyses.
  • Improve and develop cost reporting systems.
  • Maintain cost structure records and ensure data integrity in financial systems.
