Job summary

Match Retail is seeking an energetic Merchandiser in New Glasgow, NS to visit stores, update product sections, and ensure new product launches are well-presented. The role offers flexible weekday hours and mileage reimbursement as part of an Independent Contractor arrangement.

You will work with Canada’s top brands, manage planograms, and communicate with store managers. A reliable vehicle and tech-savvy mindset are important for success.

About the Role

Match Retail is a leading provider of essential merchandising services across Canada, supporting major retailers and top brands by bringing new product launches to life. Our Merchandising Team visits stores to update product sections, ensuring the latest innovations are perfectly presented.

We work with long-term clients, including L'Oréal, Maybelline, Groupe Marcelle, Shoppers Drug Mart, Lowe's, RONA, Walmart, and many others.

What You’ll Do:

• Set up or update store fixtures according to planograms
• Complete cosmetic resets and installations
• Communicate directly with Store or Cosmetic Managers
• Independently track and document your work using user-friendly digital tools
• Submit daily updates through our online platform at your own pace
• Work in new store locations regularly, adding variety to your day

What You Need:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliable and self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team
• Tech-savvy - comfortable using digital tools and platforms
• Effective communication skills
• Merchandising experience and a strong knowledge of planograms/MODs are an asset but not required, training is provided.

What You Bring:

• Reliable personal vehicle required for travel between store locations
• Smartphone and internet access
• Availability for 4 - 5 weekdays per week with flexibility to manage your own schedule
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
• Availability for project-specific dates
• Additional requirements may be outlines by the Frield Manager based on client demands.
