Job summary

Englobe is seeking a Metallurgical Engineering professional to participate in technical field inspections across various Canadian provinces. You will diagnose issues, collect field data, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical solutions.

A strong safety focus and leadership in assigned activities are required. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement within a dynamic, environmentally focused company that values growth, flexibility, and a broad portfolio of projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in metallurgical engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Capability to perform physical work on construction/industrial sites, including lifting up to 25 kg, with safety procedures.
• Willingness to participate in field-based corrosion inspection programs across Canadian provinces on a fly-in/fly-out schedule.

Your Main Responsibilities

What Makes You Unique

• AEC, DEC, or bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering or another relevant discipline.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to perform physical work on construction or industrial sites, including lifting up to 25 kg for extended periods, while following health and safety procedures.
• Willingness to participate in field-based corrosion inspection programs for infrastructure projects across various Canadian provinces on a rotational fly-in/fly-out schedule.
• AMPP (NACE) certification in Cathodic Protection and/or Coatings.
• Valid driver's licence.
• WorkSafeBC training, or equivalent provincial safety credentials are considered assets.
• Bilingualism, both spoken and written (French and English), an asset.

The salary range for this position is $66,182 to $86,864 CAD base per annum, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks. The final offer will be determined based on a combination of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications, their positioning within our internal compensation structure, and relevant geographic cost‑of‑living considerations, where applicable. This range represents a realistic and good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this role.

Compensation may also include a comprehensive benefits package, performance incentives, or bonus eligibility depending on role level and business unit. We aim to foster transparency, respect candidate time and ensure equitable compensation aligned with our company values.
