The Opportunity

The Corporate Law Clerk (Intermediate) is responsible for the day-to-day operational coordination, and administration of the Legal & Regulatory Compliance function. Reporting to the Vice President, Legal & Regulatory Compliance, the role focuses on coordinating legal and regulatory processes, maintaining records and trackers, and preparing materials for Executive and Board level oversight. This position is suited to a law clerk with solid corporate experience who is seeking broader exposure to governance, regulatory compliance, and privacy within a regulated environment.

How You Will Create An Impact

Provide operational coordination and administrative execution across the Legal & Regulatory Compliance portfolio, including governance, regulatory compliance, Ombudsman, privacy, and contract-related activities

  • Administer contract management processes, including intake, tracking, execution coordination, filing, and monitoring of key dates such as renewals and expiries
  • Maintain records related to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, Ombudsman activities, privacy management, and legal matters in accordance with internal policies
  • Coordinate and track regulatory filings, submissions, correspondence, and responses to support compliance with applicable requirements
  • Prepare, coordinate, format, and distribute Executive and Board level materials, including reports, dashboards, summaries, and briefing materials
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date trackers, logs, registers, and repositories to ensure visibility into work in progress and upcoming deadlines

  • Law Clerk diploma or equivalent legal administration qualification from an accredited institution
  • 3–6 years of experience in a corporate legal, in-house, or law firm environment
  • Experience with contract administration and general corporate legal work
  • Exposure to governance, regulatory compliance, privacy, Ombudsman, or regulated industries is an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with document or contract management systems is an asset
