Corporate Finance Director - Revenue & Reporting

Responsibilities
  • Oversight of the Revenue and Reporting team.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Business Office, and local hospital teams to analyze patient accounts receivables and credit balances.
  • Coordinate with the Managed Care team to price claim sets and model financial impacts of contract changes.
  • Develop and standardize AR valuation models and processes, ensuring proper controls.
  • Create training materials on AR estimates for CFOs and Controllers.
  • Review monthly net patient revenue estimates across hospitals.
  • Oversee patient revenue aspects of the annual financial audit.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal collection efforts.
  • Prepare and review executive reports on team findings.
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and footnotes related to patient revenue.
  • Suggest process improvements for financial reporting.
  • Provide analytical support to the Corporate Finance team on patient revenue matters.
  • Develop and coach the revenue and reporting team.
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of revenue cycle analytical experience in hospital systems or public accounting auditing hospital systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and proactive attitude.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare financial statements and models.
  • Proficiency in Windows Office, ERP systems (e.g., Lawson, Meditech), Excel, and basic SQL; PowerBI knowledge is a plus.
  • Some travel to hospital sites may be required.
  • CPA certification.
Preferred
  • Experience in public accounting (audit), 10Q/K reporting, and knowledge of GAAP.

Prime Healthcare offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, 401K, medical/dental/vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and more. The estimated annual total compensation range is $128,003.20 to $210,000, with actual starting salary based on experience and credentials.
