Job description

Our client, a Tier 1 automotive manufacturer located in Windsor, ON requires an experienced Engineering Manager

• The successful incumbentmust possess a demonstrated ability to manage and develop engineering staff in the Automotive Manufacturing sector.
• Responsible for cradle to grave management of new programs including ensuring timely and effective execution from design to complete Customer PPAP.
• Experience with all types of metal stamping and assembly including die and machine build construction in order to manage through staff the die and assembly builds from concept to completion.
• Knowledge of metal product design, die design and tryout, and modular weld assembly would be an asset.
• Require an eager, results-driven candidate, with strong interpersonal and report writing skills, combined with a hands-on work ethic.
• Responsible for a staff of 10-12 Tooling Engineers and Process Engineers.
• The successful candidate will possess an Engineering designation or equivalent and have a minimum of 5-8 years of management experience, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• This position’s location is Windsor Ontario Canada, and is an on-site role.
• The Engineering Manager will report directly to the Director of Engineering.
