The Corporate Controller oversees accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations and driving internal controls. This role manages a global shared-services center, multi-country financial environments, and supports growth through process improvements and financial leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

• Financial Reporting : Ensure accurate, compliant financial statements.
• Internal Controls : Implement systems to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy.
• Compliance : Ensure adherence to financial regulations.
• Audit Coordination : Manage audits and ensure timely completion.
• Leadership : Lead and develop the finance team.
• Financial Analysis : Support strategic decisions through financial analysis.
• Cash Flow Management : Oversee cash flow for liquidity and efficiency.
• Policy Development : Develop financial policies aligned with business goals.
• Finance Transformation : Drive process improvements and scalability.

Requirements :

• A university degree in business / accounting or an advanced degree / designation is preferred.
• 10+ years in senior accounting / finance roles.
• Expertise in accounting standards, tax laws, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Leadership and team development experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Location : On-Site in Edmonton. Full relocation support will be offered to the successful candidate.
