Job Summary

We are seeking a Corporate/Commercial Legal Assistant for our Regina office, with experience in a general corporate/commercial practice. The ideal candidate will have practical training and experience from a busy corporate/commercial environment, and will have graduated from an accredited legal program (equivalencies considered). Candidates must be self-motivated, capable of multitasking and prioritizing workload, detail-oriented, and possess excellent organizational, communication, and written skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform complex editing and formatting for correspondence and documents.
  2. Prepare various administrative tasks, including file opening, billing, and follow-up to review outstanding accounts.
  3. Maintain an efficient file system (physical and electronic files).
  4. Complete, monitor, and follow up on all post-closing documents.
  5. Perform day-to-day administrative tasks, including file organization, diarizations, booking appointments, and maintaining calendars.
  6. Attend to online filings with corporate registries.
