Job summary

SGGG Fund Services Inc. in Toronto seeks an Analyst, Fund Accounting Onboarding to support onboarding, conversions, and valuation of investment funds, ensuring accurate setup and ongoing readiness.

Reporting to the Manager, Onboarding, this role collaborates across teams to manage multiple priorities. You’ll set up funds in Diamond, review NAV calculations, and coordinate pricing, corporate actions, and data imports.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Set up new funds in Diamond based on legal documents.
  • Support fund conversions by liaising with previous administrators.
  • Prepare and review valuation packages (NAV daily/weekly/monthly).
  • Ensure pricing, corporate actions, and fund accruals accuracy.
  • Coordinate NAV delivery to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update securities and identifiers (e.g., RICs).
  • Research and prepare corporate action templates per fund docs.
  • Analyze templates prepared by the team.
  • Build relationships with internal teams, clients and auditors.
  • Identify process improvements and escalate to management.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes impacting fund ops.

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Analyst, Fund Accounting Onboarding to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, Onboarding, this role supports the onboarding, conversion, and valuation of investment funds, ensuring accurate setup and ongoing operational readiness.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of fund operations, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively across teams

What You’ll Do
  • Set up new funds in internal systems (Diamond) based on legal offering documents, including fee structures, expense accruals, and pricing procedures
  • Support fund conversions by liaising with previous administrators and importing historical data
  • Prepare and review valuation packages, including daily, weekly, and monthly NAV calculations
  • Ensure accuracy of pricing, corporate actions, dividends, and fund-specific accruals
  • Coordinate NAV delivery processes to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and update securities, including creating new securities and updating missing identifiers (e.g., RICs)
  • Research and prepare corporate action templates in accordance with fund documentation
  • Analyze and review corporate action templates prepared by the team
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, clients, and auditors
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and elevate issues to management
  • Stay informed on regulatory and industry changes impacting fund operations
