Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Canada seeks a finance professional to manage full-cycle accounting, including month-end and year-end close, journal entries, and consolidations. The role requires experience with large ERP systems and Advanced Excel skills and involves supporting complex areas like investments and revaluations.

You will ensure compliance with internal controls and identify opportunities to streamline processes while contributing to ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• Experience with large ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Experience supporting month-end and year-end duties.

• Supports complex accounting areas including investments, revaluations, and financing entries alongside ad hoc projects as needed
• Maintains compliance with internal controls and accounting policies while identifying process improvement opportunities at the transaction level

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Large ERP experience is required along with Advanced Excel skills
• Previous experience supporting with month-end & year-end duties
