Horizon Recruitmentis currently seeking aCorporate Accountantfor one of our large Vancouver clients.Our client is a leader in their field and is seeking a dynamic individual with an industry background focused on corporate reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end reporting
• Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations
• Prepare monthly mobility account reconciliations
• Prepare month end closing journal entries and accruals
• Prepare and coordinate IFRS 16 entries
• Manage monthly capitalization & depreciation process for Fixed Assets
• Prepare monthly tax reconciliations and remittance
• Maintain A/R ledger, prepare chargeback invoices, manage collections and investigate overdue amounts
• Prepare daily bank reconciliation and bank deposits
• Assist with corporate budgets/forecast/profitability adjustments
• Support various business unit leaders with financial information reports and requests
• Assist in ad hoc requests and analysis, and,
• Embrace and proactively support BGO’s culture of environmental sustainability, and corporate and social responsibility

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of industry experience
• Real-Estate background would be considered an asset but not a requirement
• Ideally pursuing their CPA or want to pursue their CPA
• Experience with Yardi, Concur, and strong Excel knowledge
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with other business units and senior leadership

Rewards:

• $65,000 - $70,000
