Skills and Responsibilities:

• Bachelors degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• Good experience working in telecom core networks (4G/5G/IMS/VoLTE).

• Strong understanding of protocols: Diameter, SIP, GTP, SCTP, SS7, MAP, etc.

• Hands-on experience with vendors like Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, Cisco, etc.

• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud-native network functions (NFV, SDN, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of IP networking and security principles.

• Take full accountability and ownership in all DevOps deliverables (design, integration, testing, troubleshooting) for wireless data core platforms focusing on:

• 5G Standalone Core (5GC):o AUSF, UDM, UDR

• Evolved Packet Core (EPC):o HSS, HLR

• Cloud Native (Docker/K8s) and hypervisor-based NFV environments and associated cloud tools

• Design, implement, and maintain the core network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.

• Ensure network architecture aligns with business needs and security requirements.

• Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions.

• Monitor network performance and identify potential issues proactively.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems, including routing, switching, and security issues.

• Document network issues and resolutions for future reference.Work with other stakeholders, such as network architects, system administrators, and security teams, to ensure network stability and security.

• Communicate network issues and solutions to stakeholders effectively.
