Job description

The layer-laden teams. The prehistoric processes. The impersonal, ego-driven dog-and-pony shows. Take what you think you know about agencies and burn it. P10 was born of the idea that if something isn’t working—or could work better—change it. And that’s exactly what we did. We know that what we’re not makes us who we are. And we’re not just another agency. We are people driven by a palpable passion and purpose, felt by our clients from the very first conversation.

P10 brings together a team of diverse, remote-only seasoned professionals to deliver exceptional value for our clients. Dare to do something different - join us.

We are looking for a Copy Director to join our team. You are a seasoned professional known for consistently producing high-quality, impactful content. You not only handle significant projects but also play a pivotal role in guiding the tone and direction of campaigns, often working in tandem with strategy teams. This is a craft-leadership role, where you will be primarily working to deliver on client requirements independently, while working with leadership to define best practices - in some organizations this would be called a Group Copy Supervisor. You will report to an Associate Creative Director.

This role is open to remote candidates in the United States or Canada, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern time zone.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and create content for large-scale, pivotal advertising campaigns that shape the brand narratives.
  • Work directly with clients and cross-functional teams to gather in-depth product information, ensuring content aligns with overall strategy.
  • Serve as a go-to expert within the copywriting team for complex topics or intricate projects.
  • Collaborate closely with the design and strategy teams to ensure content and visuals are cohesive and impactful.
  • Offer guidance and insights to other copywriters, sharing expertise and helping to elevate the overall quality of work produced by the team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, life sciences, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing with a proven track record for effectively managing a high volume of work and the day-to-day needs of an account
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and the ability to navigate complex regulatory challenges.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to agency growth in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Communicates with and directs freelancer support, as needed, to deliver high quality work within the agreed upon timelines
  • Ability to manage high volume of work, and manage freelancer support as needed to deliver client goals
