Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Copper & Fibre Cable Technician with a strong outside plant background. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fibre optic and copper networks in the field, using EXFO test equipment and cable locating tools.
You will read drawings, document results, and perform emergency restorations as needed. The role requires at least 3 years in telecom field work, ability to work outdoors in varied conditions, and a valid driver's licence.
You are an experienced and motivated Copper & Fibre Cable Technician with a strong background in outside plant (OSP) telecommunications. You excel at diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing fibre optic and copper network issues while ensuring the reliability of critical telecommunications infrastructure. You are confident using industry-standard testing and locating equipment, work safely and independently in the field, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
$31.73 - $43.48 per hour
This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location.
Remote, site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
