Job summary

Carbonleo, based in Quebec, is seeking an experienced coordinator for tenant fit-outs and retail store design. You will work with the project team to align scope, design criteria and budgets, producing sketches and LODs in CAD or Revit on BIM360.

You will coordinate across tenants, owners and contractors, ensure schedules and budgets are met, and help manage project documentation and invoices. On-site collaboration and a proactive, team-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

  • Degree in architecture, interior design, engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years coordinating retail store design projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD and BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360).

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with project team on scope, design criteria, budget and timelines for tenant fit-outs.
  • Create sketches and LODs for tenant fit-outs in CAD or Revit using BIM360.
  • Review tenant plans with design criteria from tenants and owner.
  • Coordinate services with tenants, professionals, contractors and project team.
  • Ensure adherence to schedule, budget, design and approved plans.
  • Oversee documents collection and payment verification for progress invoices.

THE POSITION
Responsabilities
  • Liaise with the project team regarding the scope of work, design criteria, budget, and timelines related to tenant fit
    outs;
  • In response to requests from the Leasing team, create sketches and LODs for tenant fit-outs in CAD or Revit, using
    the project’s Revit and BIM360 platforms;
  • Work with the Design team to review tenant plans in accordance with the design criteria established by both the
    tenants and the owner;
  • In collaboration with the tenant, their professionals and contractors, and the project team, coordinate all project
    related services, including coordination processes (requests, permits, site access, etc.), statements of work,
  • Ensure tenants adhere to the schedule, budget, design, and approved construction plans;
  • In collaboration with building management staff, ensure that projects are completed in accordance with property
    standards and regulations (access, noisy work, service interruptions, etc.);
  • Participate in compiling the list of defects and coordinate their correction;
  • Review, verify, and oversee the payment of progress and final invoices;
  • Coordinate, review, and oversee the collection of required documents (as-built drawings, warranty documents, maintenance and operations manuals, etc.);
  • Perform any related tasks requested by their immediate supervisor or required by their duties.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Degree in architecture, interior design, engineering, construction management, or equivalent;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience coordinating retail store design;
  • Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Outlook Suite, MS Project, and BIM360;
  • Customer-service oriented;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (with tenants, landlords, contractors, consultants, colleagues, and clients);
  • Comfortable working on-site;
  • Strong ability to identify, assess, and resolve problems;
  • Ability to work flexibly, dynamically, and resourcefully on multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with various departments within the company.
