Responsibilities

• Performs daily duties by following established operational procedures.
• Uses various test devices and software to determine condition and disposition.
• Performs database and administrative procedures for HTD Testing & Refurbishing, Order Fill, Shipping and Receiving; fulfills equipment orders.
• Fulfills Storefront orders for equipment.
• Processes equipment returns from all sources including Customers, Contractors, and Technicians.
• Salvages accessories and maintains units for deployment.
• Sorts kit accessories and literature for the Kitting work cell; segregates damaged goods for disposal.
• Packages and labels equipment for redeployment, furtherance or storage.
• Disposes of corrugate and empties work station garbage bins.
• Complies with daily 6S procedures.
• Participates in physical inventory counts.
• Safeguards operations and contents by following security procedures.
• Contributes to team effort by completing related tasks and duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. 1- Performs daily duties by following established operational procedures. This requires the knowledge and ability to operate related test equipment and motorisedmotorized vehicles that are provided by Cogeco.
2. 2- Using various test devices and software. Determines condition and disposition. Identifies and assign preliminary fault information to units requiring functional repair.
3. 3- Performs database and administrative procedures as required for HTD Testing & Refurbishing, Order Fill, Shipping and Receiving. Fulfills Technician and Contractor equipment orders including digital boxes, modems, digital phones and literature.
4. 4- Fulfills Storefront orders for equipment.
5. 5- Processes equipment returns from all sources including Customers, Contractors, and Technicians.
6. 6- Salvages accessories. Maintain units within work area for deployment.
7. 7- Sorts kit accessories and literature for furtherance to the Kitting work cell. Segregates damaged goods for disposal.
8. 8- Packages and labels equipment for redeployment, furtherance or storage.
9. 9- Disposes of corrugate and empties the work station garbage bins.
10. 10- Responsible to comply with daily 6S procedures.
11. 11- Participates in physical inventory counts.
12. 12- Safeguards TDC operations and contents by complying with security procedures and protocols.
13. 13- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related job tasks, projects and/or other duties as required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

ACADEMIC TRAINING

High School diploma required

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 1-3 years’ previous experience in a distribution centre and /or packaging environment required
• 1-3 years previous Skid Wrapper, Pump truck, Forklift, Raymond Reach certification and experience is preferred
• 1-3 years’ experience testing and validating equipment is an asset
• 1-3 years’ experience of Basic CATV materials is an asset
• Exposure to Oracle Financial system is an asset

SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

Demonstrates a working knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel). Knowledge of WHMIS and MSDS experience. Strong written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to exercise tact, sound judgement and discretion when dealing with others. A positive, “can do” attitude and customer focused approach that enables them to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision. Able to take initiative in identifying and resolving problems. Possesses sound organisationalorganizational, problem solving, analytical and reporting skills. Concentration and a high attention to detail are required when auditing and entering results. Must organize activities and prioritize to ensure timely completion of multiple order demands.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND VISUAL ACUITY

Must lift and move heavy packages and equipment regularly. (up to 50 pounds). Warehouse environment .Includes work in all climatic conditions Flexibility required with respect to hours of work as business needs change
