Cogeco Connexion Inc. in Burlington, ON is seeking a proactive technician for temporary duties in a distribution and testing environment.
The role involves operating test equipment and material handling gear, following procedures, and supporting order fulfilment and shipping processes. The candidate should have a high school diploma and 1–3 years in a distribution/packaging setting, with preferred certifications for equipment like skid wrappers and forklifts.

Time Type: Temporary (Fixed Term)
As part of their work, employees must take all necessary measures to ensure their own health and safety, and that of their co-workers and the public in general. They must use available personal protective equipment at all times, and comply with all Health & Safety instructions, guidelines, policies and procedures issued by the Company. High School diploma required
Demonstrates a working knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel). Knowledge of WHMIS and MSDS experience. Strong written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to exercise tact, sound judgement and discretion when dealing with others. A positive, “can do” attitude and customer focused approach that enables them to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision. Able to take initiative in identifying and resolving problems. Possesses sound organisationalorganizational, problem solving, analytical and reporting skills. Concentration and a high attention to detail are required when auditing and entering results. Must organize activities and prioritize to ensure timely completion of multiple order demands.
Must lift and move heavy packages and equipment regularly. (up to 50 pounds). Warehouse environment .Includes work in all climatic conditions Flexibility required with respect to hours of work as business needs change
