Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Job Coordinator in Program / Project Control to join the Aerospace Canada team at the Completion Center. You will coordinate program activities, monitor supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery across multiple internal stakeholders.

The role requires at least 5 years of supervising employees, strong planning, and excellent bilingual communication. This on-site position is based in Canada and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor supplier productivity objectives and team activities.
  • Build and validate SOWs to ensure supplier obligations are clear.
  • Frontline presence at supplier facilities managing offload activities (>50%).
  • Review billing charges for offload activities.
  • Identify and standardize key processes to improve objectives.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Contracts, Customer Facing Team and Logistics.
  • Lead daily reviews with suppliers and internal governance.
  • Facilitate change requests and ensure continuous improvement.

What are your contributions to the team?
  • Coordinate and monitor the achievement of supplier productivity objectives by planning, organizing, motivating and coordinating the activities of the groups assigned to supplier operations
  • Helps to build and validate specific aircraft SOW (Scope of Work), to ensure suppliers understands their obligations
  • The role will be mostly based on the front line at the supplier facility managing and coordinating offload activities (>50% of the time)
  • Help review billing charges for offload activities
  • Identify, document and standardize the key processes leading to the achievement of objectives and share best practices within the organization;
  • Manage customer aircraft technical issues with multifunctional teams to ensure issues are brought to resolution in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with internal resources/stakeholders such as Engineering, Contracts, Customer Facing Team, Quality, Programs, Aftermarket, Finance and mainly with Logistics for coordination of part delivery during project execution
  • Prepare and lead daily reviews with the supplier, including internal governance reviews
  • Identify deviations between project scope and desired deliverables, facilitating/coordinating change requests as neededEnsure continuous improvement, in particular through the use of the problem-solving process;
  • Ensure the use of best practices and apply lessons learned from previous projects

How to thrive in this role?
  • You have very strong management skills and ideally have experience in aeronautics;
  • You have acquired a minimum of 5 years of experience in supervising employees;
  • You have excellent organizational and planning skills, are able to set priorities in order to achieve important milestones.
  • You have exceptional communication skills; are able to communicate at all levels of the organization from shop floor to board room level. You are equally able to communicate to all levels within the customer representative organization.
  • Able and willing to travel
  • You have a college education or equivalent experience;
  • You have the values and a vision that align with the company's philosophy;
  • You have knowledge of French and English;
  • You also have the ability to work under tight deadlines.
