Reporting to the Supervisor, Parks Customer Experience, the Coordinator, Community Programs is responsible for the development, coordination and delivery of community engagement initiatives, parks programs and community outreach activities within the City’s Parks Maintenance & Forestry division.
This position fosters community pride, environmental stewardship and active use of park spaces, by developing and implementing high quality programs for residents, schools, community organizations and local partners within Brampton’s parks and green infrastructure.
The Coordinator supports initiatives related to environmental stewardship, volunteer engagement, community events and public education while ensuring programs align with divisional priorities, the City of Brampton’s strategic plan and broader environmental sustainability goals.
