Job summary

Destination Owl’s Head in Canada seeks a Program Coordinator for the Hiboux Juniors and Opti-Ski to guide skill development and ensure high-quality, safe experiences on the slopes.

You will mentor instructors, evaluate progress, and coordinate daily activities, while delivering a professional, reassuring customer journey for families in a bilingual FR/EN environment.

YOUR PLAYGROUND

As the coordinator of the Junior Owl and Opti-Ski programs, you play a key role in overseeing intermediate-level programs and in the professional development of instructors in your sector. Through your positive leadership, technical expertise, and pedagogical approach, you help provide an enriching experience where young skiers can develop their skills with confidence, motivation, and enjoyment.
Working on the slopes, you support instructors in their professional development, guide students in their progress, and ensure that activities run smoothly to deliver structured, safe, and high-quality programs.
Your main mission: to guide young skiers in their technical development while creating a motivating, structured environment focused on the joy of skiing.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Ski School and Rental Team Leader, the Junior Owl and Opti-Ski Program Coordinator is responsible for:

• Coordinate the smooth running of the Hiboux Juniors and Opti-Ski programs and ensure the smooth operation of daily activities in your sector;
• Divide groups and manage changes, delays, absences, and any adjustments necessary for the smooth running of activities;
• Mentor, guide, and support instructors in their technical and instructional development;
• Participate in the training and development of instructor teams;
• Conduct instructor evaluations (on-snow and theoretical) as well as student evaluations;
• Ensure students’ technical progress by maintaining a motivating environment tailored to their skill level;
• Maintain high instructional standards and ensure compliance with operational procedures and safety standards;
• Answer parents’ questions and follow up as needed to provide a professional and reassuring customer experience;
• Collaborate with the team leader to ensure a seamless and consistent customer experience.
