Job summary

Skyservice is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to coordinate major inspections, oversee the full inspection work package, and ensure timely delivery. Based in Dorval, the role requires a valid M2 Transport Canada AME license and at least five years of maintenance experience.

You will work with purchasing, document control, and maintenance teams, participate in problem solving, and support the Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications

  • Valid M2 Transport Canada AME License.
  • Minimum 5 years related experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Strong computer skills focused on Microsoft 365 programs.
  • Solid understanding of CAR’s.
  • Proven experience with planning and coordinating aircraft maintenance activities.
  • Strong Customer Service abilities.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Team player.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate major inspections on aircrafts.
  • Participate in all meetings related to the assigned major inspections.

  • Review work package and coordinate requirements for materials, parts, tooling, and outside services.
  • Identify and track milestones with the Project Manager.
  • Participate in problem solving and finding solutions.
  • Assess defects and provide information to rectify.
  • Complete relevant technical documentation.
  • Support purchasing when applicable.
  • Review work pack, billing groups and invoices for accuracy.
  • Responsible for all technical documentation and log releases.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Valid M2 Transport Canada AME License.
  • Minimum of five (5) years related experience in aircraft maintenance.

  • Possess a solid understanding of CAR’s.
