Medicine Hat College invites applications for a full-time, regular Coordinator, Corporate Communications within our College Advancement team.

A little about the role:

The Coordinator of Corporate Communications is responsible for executing communication initiatives that enhance the college's reputation and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role involves implementing a range of communication functions including media relations, internal communications, crisis communications, fund development, government relations and communications support for college leaders. The incumbent participates in planning with the Advancement team and collaborates to ensure consistency in communications to all stakeholders.

As a successful candidate you will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related major(s) OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
  • Three (3) years directly related experience including supervisory experience.
  • Preferred experience within post-secondary educational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
