Position Summary

In alignment with the organization's vision and values, and working with medical staff and other Cardiovascular Program Coordinators, the Northern Health (NH) Coordinator, Cardiac Triage, plays a leadership role in developing, implementing, evaluating, and coordinating a cardiovascular waitlist management system. The main responsibilities involve access and referral to cardiac intervention and surgery. The Coordinator collaborates closely with Cardiac Services British Columbia (CSBC) and other coordinators across the province to ensure equitable and efficient access to cardiac services for all Northern Health patients. Additionally, the Cardiac Triage Coordinator is part of the NH Patient Transfer and Flow Office, working with the NH Patient Transfer Lead to facilitate timely inter-facility transfers and repatriations.

Starting salary ranges from approximately $88,990 to $111,237, based on education, experience, and comparable positions.
