In line with the organization’s vision and values, and collaborating with the medical staff and other Cardiovascular Program Coordinators, the Northern Health (NH) Coordinator, Cardiac Triage, plays a leadership role in developing, implementing, evaluating, and coordinating a cardiovascular waitlist management system. The main responsibilities involve access and referral to cardiac intervention and/or surgery. The Coordinator works closely with Cardiac Services British Columbia (CSBC) and other provincial Cardiovascular Program Coordinators to ensure efficient and equitable access to cardiac services for all NH patients. Additionally, the Coordinator is part of the NH Patient Transfer and Flow Office, working with the NH Patient Transfer Lead to facilitate timely inter-facility transfers and repatriations for northern patients.
Starting salary ranges from approximately $88,990 to $111,237, depending on education, training, experience, and comparable positions.
